100-YEAR STRATEGIES

ECOSYSTEM VLG world 100 was born of a long maturation since 2012 of Virginie Guignard Legros’ thinking in the face of the problems generated by the Anthropocene. Initially, 50 programs to regenerate the humanitarian and economic matrix were created for vulnerable populations, mainly in Africa.

The Strategies for the next 100 years project arose from the great difficulty of structuring the 50 ECOSYSTEM VLG world projects and programs on the basis of the 17 classic Sustainable Development Goals. This is because the SDGs were designed for states and large organizations, and are difficult to apply, particularly to the issues of empowerment and self-determination created for the beneficiary communities of the ECOSYSTEM VLG world CONSORTIUM.
